Behind the Mission: A Message from Our Founder

By Michael Rinaldi Domingo | Founder, The Rinaldi Project

From the Uniform to the Mission

I founded The Rinaldi Project because I’ve lived both sides of the military journey—the pride of serving, and the quiet challenges that come afterward.

I served with the U.S. Air Force and spent years working alongside veterans as they prepared to transition back into civilian life. I saw their dedication. I saw their resilience. And I saw their frustration.

Many didn’t have a roadmap. Others didn’t know who to trust. Some were simply trying to survive—jobless, anxious, disconnected. And what struck me most was this:

They were trained to lead and serve with excellence… but not to reenter society.

That realization became a calling. And that calling became The Rinaldi Project.

A Mission Built by Veterans, for Veterans

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all programs. We believe in people. In structure. In healing. And in outcomes.

Our five-phase journey isn’t just a checklist—it’s a lifeline. Each phase was created based on what veterans actually need:

  1. Trust and onboarding

  2. Career alignment and opportunity

  3. Mental health and family stability

  4. Leadership and reintegration

  5. Lifelong support and mentorship

It’s personal. It’s holistic. And it works.

We’re Not Just Changing Careers—We’re Changing Lives

Every veteran in our program has a name, a story, a family, a future.

We’ve seen formerly homeless veterans become full-time engineers.

We’ve seen spouses go from overwhelmed to empowered.

We’ve seen lives saved because someone finally felt seen, heard, and supported.

This work isn’t about charity—it’s about responsibility. Our country trains warriors. It should also help them come home with dignity and direction.

Why Your Support Matters

The truth is, we can’t do this alone.

Every sponsorship, every corporate partnership, every donor helps us keep this mission moving forward. Our model is built on community investment—because healing, growth, and transformation require a village.

If you’ve served, thank you.

If you’re a supporter, we need you.

And if you’re just now learning about us—I invite you to join this movement.

This Isn’t Just My Mission—It’s Ours

The Rinaldi Project isn’t about me. It’s about we.

Veterans. Families. Leaders. Citizens who care.

Together, we can help veterans not just transition—but thrive.

Welcome to the mission.
